Log undocking

Hi,
Log is constantly undocking after stopping the interactive render.
I am aware this is an old issue,
it is very very annoying and gets in the way when I try to fine tune materials or lights and try to keep my eye on the previous render to compare.

The most annoying thing ever! I think I read that it isn't a bug; it is designed to pop up with errors.

the thing is there are no errors, it just lets you know you are using a newer driver than the one tested

This is a warning message. You can adjust how much messages you get from the System tab. You can adjust the log to display only errors and not warnings.

thanks for the info, this is clear.
but the issue is it keeps undocking from the VFB window, then I have to press the gear icon on the right top corner to dock each time I stop the preview.

Do you dock in the VFB or in the 3ds Max UI? I can't reproduce the issue on my setup.

yes, it cannot be reproduced at well, it is totally random, and many users experienced the same behavior, it is docked to the VFB

I can't reproduce the issue with the latest version of V-Ray. We've had a similar issue logged and fixed in our bug tracking system but it is triggered using the Live Link button from 3ds Max to Vantage.
The attached video shows how it used to reproduce but it is labeled as fixed and no longer does (on my setup).
